Heart-breaking outcry of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza achieved to cease the fire, though relatively. Democracy of the free world was buried under the rubble of buildings destroyed in the Israeli bombardment.
It is now time to rebuild Gaza in defiance of those who call destroying homes and killing children victory. Hospitals, schools, homes and infrastructure facilities that were bombed in violation of international laws of war will be rebuilt.
It is time to extend a hand to the distressed, to raise Gaza from its ashes, to ease the suffering, to alleviate the pain of the Gazan people.

WHAT IS IHH DOING FOR GAZA?
1. Cash and Urgent Aid:
- The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation donated each of 400 families of the killed and wounded Palestinians $300, totally 170,000 Turkish liras (TL).
- The affected Palestinians were given by the IHH contact office in Gaza tents, clothes and blankets worth TL 30,000.
- 50 tons of flour was purchased from Egypt and distributed to needy Palestinians.
- Two tons of candles were sent to Gaza, where there is no electricity.
- The people of Gaza were given TL 450,000 cash donation in the second round of aid.
- A group of people, including IHH President Bülent Yıldırım, lawmakers and doctors, went to Gaza and delivered TL 4,800,000 in cash to the officials of the Gaza Health Ministry.
- Aid in cash was delivered to the authorities in Gaza by an IHH team of medics to be spent on medication, medical equipment and health services.
- The 2,000 families whose houses were destroyed completely were given $2,000 cash donation each. Totally TL 6,500,000 aid in cash was donated.
2. Orphan Relief Efforts:
- Caring for 2,500 orphans before the latest offensive, the IHH undertook caring for another 3,000 orphans after the attacks.
3. Health Services:
- 15 tons of medication and medical equipment were delivered to Gaza.
- An IHH team of eight doctors and a nurse entered Gaza and helped with health services.
- Another relief team headed by the IHH president is visiting families of the wounded and refugees and coordinating aid efforts in situ.
- Preparations continue for buying two ambulances from Egypt and setting up two operating rooms in Gazan hospitals.
- A team of orthesis and prosthesis experts was sent to the region to asses the situation of the wounded.
4. Aid Planes:
- Seven-trailer load of aid materials were sent to Gaza with a special cargo plane. The 38 tons of aid cargo included 11 tons of powdered milk, 10 tons of sugar, 11.5 tons of canned fish and 30 packs of medicines, and was worth TL 500,000.
- Another cargo plane loaded with TL 670,000 worth 34 tons of relief materials such as field hospital, generators, medicines and basic foodstuff was dispatched to Gaza.
- The third aid plane contained 36.7 tons of urgently needed supplies such as medication, medical equipment, powdered milk and foodstuff, and was worth TL 585,000.
5. Aid Ship:
- In a major relief effort, the foundation sent an aid ship loaded with 1,000 tons of medicine, medical equipment, generator, cleaning materials and food supplies, and worth TL 2,774,400 to Gaza.
